New wine price record set, Petit Mouton vintage 2009 with new all-time high
A trading day from CAVEX Wine Auctions on Tuesday 2019-11-12. Six bottles of 2009 Petit Mouton in a bottle size 750 ml, changed hands for 223,34 €. In a dramatic bidding war the price rose until 223,34 € per 750 ml wine bottle and was able to achieve this world record for wine prices. The result was the second world record for wine prices and because of the wine value on the at CAVEX Wine Auctions in which a fine wine price of 217,24 € was reached, the current performance is at +2,81 % or 6,10 €.

The most popular vintage at this wine trading day was the 2009 vintage, with 360 wine bottles or 22,37 %, therefore the vintage got the first place. The 750 ml bottle size achieved 97,89 % or 1.575 wine bottles in this wine auction. Units of 12, were traded most. The most expensive wine in this wine auction came from Bordeaux. One wine bottle Mouton Rothschild vintage 2000 in a 5.000 ml bottle changed the owner for 13.108,83 € per single bottle . The most affordable wine values were 180 bottles La Fleur Morange vintage 2003 auctioned in the 750 ml bottle. The new owner had to pay 11,17 € per bottle.
The second place or a converted 6,53 % of the offers came from Burgundy. 105 bottles Burgundy were sold in the auction. In the ranking of most wanted wineries, the wines from the winery Carruades de Lafite rewarded second place in popularity from the wine lovers with 198 offered wine bottles. The third place in wine regions was awarded to Champagne with 66 or 4,10 % of the total dealing volume. In the vintage ranking the 2016 achieved the third place with an amount of 210 auctioned wine bottles. The single wine with the third highest wine value, was a Domaine de la Romanee Conti - La Tache, 2006 vintage, with a price of 3.592,79 € for a single 750 ml wine bottle. One of the least expensive wines was ranked third in the "more affordable wine price category". It went to a 2012 Penfolds - Bin 389 with a auction price of 40,78 € per 750 ml wine bottle.

Very competitive was a 2012th Penfolds - Bin 389 with a price of 40,78 € for a 750 ml bottle.
