The auction room at Langtons Wine Auction was carefully prepared, the bidders flooded into the auction room, after the wine tasting was finished. There were more then 863 lots offered and the wine auction closed with some remarkably results.
The largest share of the total amount at the wine trading day, got wineries from the wine region Australia-SA. Australia-SA provided 1.297 bottles or converted 59,20 % from all wines on that dealing day. The wine from the winery Tahbilk from Australia-VIC was the most wanted. 8,17 % or 179 wine bottles of the total amount, were auctioned from this winery and therefore, it has won the first place. The most wanted single wine was the Berry's Bridge . With a total of 8,17 % or 179 wine bottles, it was set in first place in trading volume by wine lovers. The most popular vintage at this long trading day was the 2001 vintage with 244 bottles. With more than 11,14 % of the total, the vintage got the first place. The 750 ml size achieved the first place in sizes, with 84,76 % or 1.857 wine bottles in this wine auction. Units of 6, were traded most. The most expensive wine in this wine auction came from Bordeaux. One wine bottle Haut Brion vintage 1989 in a 750 ml bottle could be sold for 1.510,11 € per bottle. The least expensive wine values were three wine bottles Gotham - Shiraz vintage 2004 auctioned in the 1.500 ml bottle. The auctioneer asked for a sale price of 5,28 € per bottle.
The second place or a converted 26,65 % of the offers came from Australia-VIC. 584 bottles Australia-VIC were sold in the fine wine auction. In the ranking of most wanted wineries, the winery Cape D'Estaing rewarded the second place in trading volume by the wine lovers with 132 sold bottles. The second best single wine was the 1998 Tahbilk - Shiraz 1860 Vines in a 750 ml bottle. The result was fixed with more than 3,01 % of the complete range or a converted 66 bottles.
The third place in wine regions was awarded to Australia-WA with 73 or 3,33 % of the total trading volume. Third place in wineries, with 130 wine bottles was Katnook, third place for single wines, with a total amount of 60 bottles was the 2004 Rusden - Shiraz Black Guts. In the vintage ranking the 2004 took the third place with an amount of 200 offered bottles. The single wine with the third highest wine price, was a Lafleur, 1979 vintage, with a price of 1.069,48 € for a single 750 ml wine bottle. One of the least expensive wines was ranked third in the "more affordable wine price category". It went to a 2001 Cape D'Estaing - Shiraz Kangaroo with a wine auction price of 5,57 € per 750 ml wine bottle.
In this wine auction the 2001th vintage was most wanted. With a total of 244 bottles or 11,14 % he achieved the first rank. In the 750 ml bootle size 84,76 % or 1.857 bottles changed hands. packages 6, were most traded.
The vintage 2002 set the second most trading points. 240 bottles from this vintage were auctioned. The trading volume three set the second most trading volume . The bottle size 1.500 ml was 314 times traded in bottles. The vintage 2004 achieved the third most tradingpoints. 200 bottles from this vintage got under the hammer. The tradingvolume one reached the third rank in this auction. Ten bottles from the bottle size 375 ml were sold.
One wine bottle Haut Brion vintage 1989 in a 750 ml bottle changed wine investor for 1.510,11 € per bottle. Thereby this wine, coming from the wine region of Bordeaux, achieved the highest wine price in the auction . The low-prices wines were three bottles Gotham - Shiraz vintage 2004. Sold for 5,28 € per 1.500 ml bottle, the wine changed hands. The wine with the second best worth was the 1959th Chateau Margaux. One bottle was traded and achieved a wine auction price of 1.257,70 € per 750 ml bottles. The wine with the next best value was a wine from the wine region Australia-SA. Third rank in wine price value got a Lafleur from the vintage 1979 with a wine value of 1.069,48 € for a 750 ml bottle. On of the wines sold very competitive is a 2001th Cape D'Estaing - Shiraz Kangaroo with a wine auction price of 5,57 € for a 750 ml bottle.
