Wine Investment 2013
In the last 24 months wines
from Bordeaux could be
purchased for very reasonable
prices at the secondary market and wine auctions. The price
reductions of the top growths were enormously up to 40 %
and who stock up its portfolio with Bordeaux, witnessed a
brilliant rally at the end of 2013.The Bordeaux Index increase
up to 22 % last 3 months. The counterfeits on the market for
Romanee Conti, Ponsot and other valuable Burgundy burden
the performance in 2013 and thus the Burgundy Index barely
rise by 2%. The German Rieslings evolve magnificently and
the German Wine Index rises by 17% in 2013. Italy and
Portugal continue to stagnate and Champagne is the
disappointment in 2013. The Champagne Index recorded a
loss of 7,4 % in compared to the previous year.
