The first global performance ranking of all wineries
has produced very interesting results.
France and here Burgundy dominated the top 20 wineries in the world. Among the top 20 are 9 winemakers from Burgundy. Then follows Bordeaux with 4 wineries, Australia with 3, an USA one. As a surprise, there is a winery from Chile, which became the best gains achieved in recent years.
Domaine Mugnier from Burgundy has reached 26.309 points in 2013, making it the winner.
The ranking is created, using the following criteria:
Overall appreciation, increase in value 12 months, amount of wine in the analysis, trading volume, the amount of wine prices, short-and long-term trend.
