Wine Auction Christie's London
21th February 2013 London, the wine auction on Christie's was small, but great in performance and shows quite a positive trend. All indices tend into the black.
Y de Chateau Yquem 1996 and 2009 reached peak prices , 2011 in 1500ml with slight drop, however the level is about 250€ for the 750ml bottle.
The Domaine Drouhin Laroze Clos de Vougeot & Chambertin Clos de Beze 1990 750ml also attained records prices, as well as Jacques Prieur Montrachet 1998 750ml with 290€/ bottle the highest price ever paid for this wine.
Italy followed the trend and performed well, Bruno Giacosa Barolo Rocche de Falletto 2004 750ml for 192€ and Ornellaia 1990 3000ml (+39%) and 2004 750ml (+32%). The Win 100 moved up by 0,69%, Bor-I by 2,79%.
