Champagne versus Bordeaux
After a period of more than 24 month
the prices for the precious cru’s from
Bordeaux are skyrocketed. The
increase in value in the last 12 month are
impressive (20,9%). Only in the last 3 month many wines
increase by more then (15%) But looking at the
performance values for a longer time period Champagne
is in front with an average increase in value of
14.03% per year, followed by Burgundy with 13,47%
California with 13,04% and Bordeaux with 12,99%.
Volatility in Bordeaux is very high at the moment and
the wines from Champagne relatively more favorable and stable.
